Meet our Team
President & CEO
“My mission in life is not merely to survive, but to thrive; and to do so with some passion, some compassion, some humor, and some style.”
– Maya Anjelou
I remember meeting professionals I admired in my youth and asking them, “How did you get here?” The answers were never what I expected. There are so many paths to success. My own path to Henry & Harvey starts with my family, a family of hardworking Polish immigrants and entrepreneurs who carved out a life for themselves in Canada and instilled in me the drive to work hard and succeed. After high school, I followed my creative instincts into photography. I was interested in fashion and I wanted to share that beauty with the world. But it didn’t feel like quite the right fit. I was stuck in the knowledge that I needed to move forward but I wasn’t sure where to go and it weighed on me.
It’s always been important to me to love what I do. When I left photography, I thought long and hard about what truly makes me feel fulfilled and all roads led back to the animal companions who I shared so much of my life with. For as long as I could remember I had been surrounded by pets. We always had animals in our family home and when I moved out on my own that never changed. There was always at least one dog in my life. I decided I wanted to work with animals and before long I found myself at the bottom of the corporate ladder in a large pet industry organization. Within five years, I had climbed my way to the position of National Sales Director in Canada where I discovered my second true passion: business. A few years after that and here I am, President & CEO of Henry & Harvey, a relationship-based sales organization driven by my passion for pets, helping other entrepreneurs achieve their dreams and chasing the thrill of a good sale.
I feel humbled and fortunate to be in the position I am today and grateful for the opportunity to thrive.

After high school choosing a career path was challenging, I was so unsure what my calling in life was. I chose to attended hairdressing school with some friends but found myself feeling like something was missing. Following leaving the beauty industry I started a job at a pet store in my hometown as a part time cashier. I expected to work there just until I had found another career choice to pursue but instead I found my true passion. I was surrounded by so many people who shared my love for animals. My manager at the time taught me all she knew about animal care and I found myself loving work everyday and feeling so fulfilled. I enjoyed being able to help customers find ways to enrich their bond with their pet and I found pet nutrition to be fascinating.
I purchased my first sphynx cat Colin at 24 and fell in love with the breed. Shortly after I started a small hobby cattery called “The Gentleman’s Sphynx”. I successfully raised three lovely litters of kittens and found them all the perfect families. Today I still stay in touch with all of my kittens’ families who I have become great friends with along the way. My 3 sphynx cats are my best friends and they continue to make me laugh everyday!
I continued to work at the pet store for 8 years, moving up into the assistant manager position. I continued to develop my pet knowledge and was immersed in the pet sales industry by having the opportunity to attend PIJAC and other pet expos. I am grateful for the years I spent with the lovely owners of that local pet store and all the amazing staff, who quickly became family.
I came upon the Henry & Harvey position and after looking at their website and just knew I had to apply! I jumped at the opportunity and haven’t looked back. I am excited for the future and am so thankful for the chance to be able to travel and meet new people who are also in the pet industry. Can’t wait to see what life brings!

It was over 20 years ago that I began my career in the hair and beauty industry. My early career was in London England, where I trained and worked in one of the top hair salons in the world. Returning to Canada I owned my own award-winning salon in downtown Vancouver that included a clientele of television personalities and led to me working backstage at New York Fashion Week. My industry experience positioned me to fulfill the role of director of education and sales for three major global hair manufactures. With these manufactures I learned how to work with businesses to increase their customer retail experience through education and effective retail displays and marketing.
It was when I stayed at a friend’s house and used dog shampoo instead of a bodywash by mistake I was inspired to create a luxury dog grooming line. When my beloved Maltese Georgie was diagnosed with Congestive Heart Failure, I began to delve deeper into nutrition. Determined to be better educated so that I did not make the same uninformed choices with my new Maltese Jasper I become extremely interested in nutrition. Because of the loss of my dog and armed with what I now know about food and the exposed myths I am deeply passionate about pet nutrition. I am excited to be part of Henry & Harvey representing the best brands in the pet industry!
“It takes an advanced sense of humor. I don’t expect everybody to understand”

Ever since I was a kid, I knew animals were my passion. There was always a pet in our house, or 5. I quickly learned what taking care of an animal meant, and how important they can be to your life. From owning everything from a dog and a cat to guinea pigs and fish, I knew I wanted to work closely with animals. When I turned 14, I was ready to start my first job in the pet industry. I started as a part time kennel technician and customer service representative and moved onto the supervisor and eventually the inventory manager which I stayed in throughout my years of high school and after graduation. I then decided to venture into the world of Criminology.
After finishing school in Criminal Justice Studies and working in that field, I knew my calling was still in the pet industry. After moving provinces, I went back to work for the same pet store and ended up taking on the inventory management role again, which I stayed in for the next 2 years. While living in Alberta I was able to start another career journey with a non-profit organization where I managed the in-shelter pet store. Between the pet store and the non-profit organization, I was able to gain the skills and knowledge of the pet industry that I have today.
I came across Henry & Harvey through a connection I had made while working in the Pet Industry. I knew that this was going to be my shinning moment in my career and I cannot wait to see where it takes me.
“Happiness is not in the mere possession of money; it lies in the joy of achievement, in the thrill of creative effort.”

Throughout my whole life, I have been a dog and cat lover. I grew up in a small-town with four dogs, two cats, and a horse. Not only that, but my mom was also a breeder of Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retrievers, so I developed an attachment to the breed. After moving out for a couple of years, I ended up getting a Toller of my own, Tobi. She has been the greatest and most entertaining part of the past year of my life, and we are continuing to learn from each other every day.
I have been around the raw diet for pets ever since I was three years old. As my mom founded Tollden Farms, I have not only been able to learn about raw feeding and entrepreneurship through her, but I have also seen the benefits of the raw diet in my own family pets. The hard work I witnessed from my parents inspired me to also pursue a career in business. I recently finished the Business Marketing program at Algonquin College, where I was able to compete in a provincial marketing competition and get the opportunity to participate in a national marketing competition. This program, along with the competitions, encouraged me to pursue my Commerce degree, which I am currently working on.
I think, subconsciously, I always knew I wanted to work with pets. I have been a dog-walker and a dog-sitter on the side of my waitressing job, but never had the opportunity to pursue my passion for animals full-time. I am extremely thankful to be able to represent not only our beloved pets, but also be an advocate for the raw diet.
